ENGINEER (EQUIPMENT DIVISION)

Responsible To:

Equipment Division Engineering Manager

Scope:

To support the Senior Engineering team in the design and development of new and existing Switched Mode Power Supplies. and electronic assemblies. Capability to work at low and high voltages, Low and High power.
Support division in design and development using latest technologies & circuit topologies.

Main Duties:

• To maintain an Engineers Daybook to allow visibility of activities in the event of absence.
• To support in raising and agreeing acceptance test documents.
• To support with Production trouble shooting and new product inception.
• To ensure compliance with TMD manufacturing procedures.
• To support and liaison with Drawing office on new design and updating existing design.
• To achieve scheduled activity against forecast/plans. Ensuring adherence to product specification.
• Attend programme and design review meetings as required.
• To undertake any other task, which may reasonably be requested.
• To comply with the Company Policy on Health & Safety.
  

Qualifications & Experience:
BSc Engineering, Electronics or equivalent
PSU Design
High Power Design
PCB / Radar / Transmitter design
